above god hated hath loved oil thee therefore thou thy
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
deception mouth thou thy tongue
Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
bring children depart forth man pleasant saw shall though woe
Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I depart from them! / Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer.
again eyes land refrain shall thine thus thy voice work
Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
devour fire house palaces punishment send shall three thus turn
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron: / But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad.
again bring captivity city manner mercy palace remain shall thus
Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.
bitter children heard refused thus voice weeping
Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
changed fourteen served six ten thee thou thus thy twenty wages
Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times.
came curse evil god men rendered seventy son thus unto wickedness
Thus God rendered the wickedness of Abimelech, which he did unto his father, in slaying his seventy brethren: / And all the evil of the men of Shechem did God render upon their heads: and upon them came the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal.
righteous shall wicked
When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
conscience needs
Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
believe
Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
believe god good shall
Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
acceptable break counsel mercy sins thine thy unto
Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
