beyond full given hate heart ill incapable living love mind pain reach returns
That one I love who is incapable of ill will, and returns love for hatred. Living beyond the reach of I and mind, and of pain and pleasure, full of mercy, contented, self-controlled, with all his heart and all his mind given to Me / with such a one I am in love.
fire nor reached sun supreme
The sun does not illumine there, nor the moon, nor the fire. That is My supreme abode. Having reached there they do not come back.
absolute beyond bliss feels infinite reach realizing senses separated
One feels infinite bliss that is perceivable only through the intellect, and is beyond the reach of the senses. After realizing Brahman, one is never separated from absolute reality.
goal primal reaching refuge sought spirit thus
The goal should be sought reaching which one does not come back; thus thinking: In that very primal spirit I take refuge from which this primal manifestation comes forth.
body dwelling immortal
The body is mortal, but the person dwelling in the body is immortal and immeasurable.
attraction aversion man obstacles pleasant ruled senses
The senses have been conditioned by attraction to the pleasant and aversion to the unpleasant: a man should not be ruled by them; they are obstacles in his path.
animate creates creation inanimate keeps thus
The nature, under My supervision, creates all animate and inanimate objects; and thus the creation keeps on going.
achieve acquired again birth knowledge previous strives taking
After taking such a birth, O Arjuna, one regains the knowledge acquired in the previous life, and strives again to achieve perfection.
again demons mean people
I hurl these haters, cruel, sinful, and mean people of the world, into the wombs of demons again and again.
attain beyond control describe divine lasting mind spirit-and-spirituality stillness tame trying union
O Krishna, the stillness of divine union which you describe is beyond my comprehension. How can the mind, which is so restless, attain lasting peace? Krishna, the mind is restless, turbulent, powerful, violent; trying to control it is like trying to tame the wind.
detail glory heard origin
O Krishna, I have heard from You in detail about the origin and dissolution of beings, and Your imperishable glory.
again amazed dialogue form greatly lord marvelous rejoice repeated sacred thrilled
O King, by repeated remembrance of this marvelous and sacred dialogue between Lord Krishna and Arjuna, I am thrilled at every moment; and / Recollecting again and again, O King, that marvelous form of Krishna I am greatly amazed and I rejoice over and over again.
bliss desires free mind supreme whose yogi
Supreme bliss comes to a Self-realized yogi whose mind is tranquil, whose desires are under control, and who is free from sin.
anyone easily free liberated
Anyone free from the dualities, O Arjuna, one is easily liberated from bondage.
