creatures dear less life love nature none worship
I look upon all creatures equally; none are less dear to me and none more dear. But those who worship me with love live in me, and I come to life in them.
anger free intellect liberation prime sage verily
With senses, mind, and intellect under control; having liberation as the prime goal; free from lust, anger, and fear; such a sage is verily liberated.
amidst attachment aversion free life move peace sorrows wisdom
When you move amidst the world of sense, free from attachment and aversion alike, there comes the peace in which all sorrows end, and you life in the wisdom of the Self.
austerity charity offer offering sacred unto whatever
Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer as oblation to the sacred fire, whatever charity you give, whatever austerity you perform, do all that as an offering unto Me.
appreciation food help offering sacrifices whatever
Whatever you do, make it an offering to me -- the food you eat, the sacrifices you make, the help you give, even your suffering.
attains free freedom karma mind perfection subdued supreme whose
The person whose mind is always free from attachment, who has subdued the mind and senses, and who is free from desires, attains the supreme perfection of freedom from Karma through renunciation.
higher jewels strung thread universe
There is nothing higher than Brahman. Everything in the universe is strung on Brahman like jewels on the thread of a necklace.
animate exist
There is nothing, animate or inanimate, that can exist without Me.
attainable beings devotion supreme universe within
This Supreme abode, O Arjuna, is attainable by unswerving devotion to Me within which all beings exist, and by which all this universe is pervaded.
attains body cease death deluded nor time wise
There has never been a time when you and I have not existed, nor will there be a time when we will cease to exist. As the same person inhabits the body through childhood, youth, and old age, so too at the time of death he attains another body. The wise are not deluded by these changes.
clearly evil turning
Why shouldn't we, who clearly see evil in the destruction of the family, think about turning away from this sin, O Krishna?
determination firm mental practiced yoga
This yoga should be practiced with firm determination and perseverance, without any mental reservation or doubts.
eats keeps sleeps yoga
This yoga is not possible, for the one who eats too much, or who does not eat at all; who sleeps too much, or who keeps awake.
animate father greatest guru inanimate
You are the father of this animate and inanimate world, and the greatest guru to be worshipped.
