I am very proud to be the only candidate up here who does not have a Super PAC, who's not raising huge sums of money from Wall Street.
Essentially what my campaign is about, it`s about anything, this is saying we`ve got bring that money back into the middle class and working families. We have to create jobs, we have to raise, we have to make public colleges and universities tuition free so kids in that community who are studying hard understand that some day they will be able to go to college.
Ever since [Donald]Trump has been opening his big mouth, you`re seeing all these bitter people, latent racists who are becoming emboldened. You`re seeing some ugly stuff happening around this country.
We can`t allow racism and xenophobia to gain traction.
You all remember how many years ago, we were younger, it was uppity women who are trying to take our jobs as men. It was those gay people who wanted to make everybody homosexual in our school system. It was Blacks wanted to take white jobs. You all remember how many years ago, we were younger, it was uppity women who are trying to take our jobs as men. Demagogues like [Donald] Trump come along. He says I know what the cause is. Remember, later, the cause was that Mexicans who are coming to this country, well, they were criminals or rapists. Now it is Muslims.
I think we bring together that broad coalition including Russia to help us destroy ISIS and work on a timetable to get rid of Assad, hopefully through Democratic elections. First priority, destroy ISIS.
Corporations are not going to stash their money in the Cayman Islands. We are going to reinvest in America, create jobs, make education available to all.
We have to invest in our kids, we have to invest in our communities, we have to create jobs. We have to make certain that kids are not dropping out of school and hanging out on street corners.
I`m not going to get establishment support. I`m not going to get the support of the governors and the senators, with few exceptions, and many of the major organizations.
Experience is not the only point, judgment is. And once again, back in 2002, when we both [with Hillary Clinton]looked at the same evidence about the wisdom of the war in Iraq, one of us voted the right way and one of us didn't.
I will do my best to transform our trade policy and take on these corporations who want to invest in low-income countries around the world rather than in the United States of America.
When Hillary Clinton ran against Senator [Barack] Obama she thought him naive because he thought it was a good idea to talk to our enemies. I think those are exactly the people you have to talk to and you have to negotiate with.
I have known Secretary [Hillary] Clinton for 25 years and respect her very much.
