Sir Bernard Inghamis a British journalist and former civil servant, best known as Margaret Thatcher's chief press secretary while she was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990. He was knighted in Mrs Thatcher's 1990 resignation honours list. Despite never having attended university himself, Ingham lectured in public relations at The University of Middlesex.
