christmas energy home tough
We had a little more energy because we were at home. It's tough to play away from home on Christmas.
pick special veteran
I wasn't doing anything special for him - that's how I play every night. No. 1 pick, No. 2 pick or a cagey veteran - it is all the same to me.
basketball whoever wins
Whoever wins this is the world real basketball champion.
deserve forth good
We just went through the motions. We didn't put forth a good enough effort. We didn't deserve to win.
ball came moved
We just came out and moved the ball around.
anytime celebrate expect extra game gets remember team win
Yeah, we expect anytime a team gets a win on us now, they're going to celebrate a little bit. We remember that and we'll take it into the game as a little extra motivation.
control desire heart impose
We had control of the game. We didn't really play with the heart and desire that we usually play with. We didn't come out and impose our will on this team.
control game
We had control of the game and let it get out of hand.
bench control giving great job keeping pick slow turning wheels
We got off to a slow start, but for the most part, we were able to pick it up and take control of the game. The bench did a great job of keeping the wheels turning and giving us a lot of energy.
bit couple games last playing won
We haven't been playing well. Even the last couple of games we won didn't really feel like wins. We've got to go out there and play a little bit harder.
afford allow emotions extra feed guys hang knowing pick team teams type
When a team is short-handed, you can't allow them to hang around and feed off their emotions. Knowing that they got guys out, guys want to come out and play a little extra hard, try to pick it up. You can't afford to let those type teams hang around too long.
beat force guys hard pick shortcuts sign tough
I didn't know anything about it, but I think that's a sign of consistency. We go out and play hard every night, not take shortcuts and we usually don't pick up fouls. We keep guys off the line, force them to take tough shots, force them to beat you, not beat yourself.
carried carry seems step until
Chauncey has been big all season, and he carried us today. Every game, if we are struggling, someone seems to step up and carry us until we get going again.
adjust aggressive calls came continue dictate force tried
I just had to continue to play my game. I couldn't let the calls dictate how I was going to play. I wanted to force them to adjust to me. I just came out aggressive and tried to make some plays.
