I expect it would take an awful lot to keep him out of the game (against Louisiana State) tomorrow.
For us to beat us the team that I think is still going to be right up there for the league title is great.
Somehow we hung around. Defense kept us in it.
I was uncomfortable standing there. I'm wanting water after water out of the machine.
I was uncomfortable just standing there, it was so hot. I kept getting water after water, out of the machine. But this kid had such good fundamentals.
He's playing the best basketball of his career. Without him, we would not be here.
He's playing the best basketball of his career right now.
He didn't want to go. Sounds like Coach. His family made him do it. He's going to be fine, based on all the information we have.
He didn't want to go. Sounds just like Coach. He's going to be fine, based on all the information we have. I was hoping we would play really well so he and his family could enjoy that in the hospital room that he was in.

He can score from 3, he can score off the bounce, he can score in the post, he rebounds his own shot as well as anybody. He poses a lot of problems. There's only a handful of people that are playing the game in college that would ever be talked about in that same light.
He is so sharp mentally, it's incredible. But the key to his run was recruiting good players who were good people. Good people last a lifetime.
I think our team embodies the spirit of what Coach is all about, which is teamwork, which is unselfish play, which is a commitment at both ends of the floor to play together, team defense, team offense, giving yourself up for your teammates. As we continue to win, they all get recognized.
I thought Jordan did a great job late in the game. My expectation is for Jordan to be aggressive and look to go to the basket, but he made some great plays on the defensive end.
