last loss motivation mouths remember taste
We have to remember how embarrassing that loss was and not want to have that taste in our mouths again. That's motivation enough. We didn't come out and play like it was a playoff-caliber game. That's what we have to do for these last games.
envisioned far last level playing season success trying year
Right now I'm trying to get to the level I was playing at last season when I should be at a level two times that. This year I'm struggling. So far I haven't been having the success I pretty much envisioned for myself over the summer. But I'm trying to be patient. It's all I can do. It's a long season.
games last together tough
We like our chances. They (Miami) are tough but we'll go in there and give it our. The last 16 games we've put it together on all levels.
both fourth last night played playing teams tired until
Both teams got really tired out there. That's because we were playing until exhaustion. They played last night and we played last night. It really showed up in the fourth quarter.
few knew last
They knew every one of our plays. They knew everything that we wanted to do in the last few minutes.
both flow good hopefully last offense sustain team
I think both the team and I have a good flow going on offense the last two nights. Hopefully we can sustain it.
four good last opposed rhythm seconds shot time tried
I had four seconds this time as opposed to the 2 1/2 I had last time. I just tried to get into my rhythm and get a good shot up.
continue defensive doubt good key last maybe mind scoring team year
It's no doubt in my mind I can be a starter, but that's not my role. It wasn't our scoring that got us there. We didn't have any all-stars. It was our defensive intensity. That's the key to this team being successful. You got to continue to do that and we can be good as last year and maybe better.
bringing hands home quit start
Things are still in our own hands but we will have to start bringing it every night, especially at home where we have to quit disappointing our home fans.
people
Other people may be surprised, but I always thought I should go No. 1.
doubt doubts early grind mental parts people whether worked
We had some doubts early on as to whether we'd even make the playoffs. It's been an up-and-down season. People said we weren't going to make the playoffs. It's been a mental grind and frustrating at parts of the season, but we worked through it.
days decided throw wear
I usually don't wear those. It was one of those days I decided to throw them on.
bring chances control effort game games moment seize win
Every game our chances are getting slimmer and slimmer. We just have to seize the moment and win games that we have control over. We've got to bring our 'A' game every night. Especially our effort, we have to have the same effort consistently every night.
ball care job offensive poor taking threw
We did a poor job of taking care of the ball. There was too many times when we just just threw the ball away and we had to many offensive fouls.
