We had to step up our serve-receive and block coverage, as well as defense, to make the plays we needed to make. We did just that in the first game.

When we got the passes, we could not get our hits to fall. We were doing all the things we needed to do, but were not doing them well enough.

We still had a few fits with our serve-receive, but the girls scrapped, swung and blocked enough to come out on top. We have matured a bit and were able to come out stronger in the third game.

This is the best we have ever been against a district opponent. It is just a beginning, but it is a good one.
