I haven't thought about that right now. I'll think about it later.
I have no doubt in my mind my playing ability, ... I can still play the game at a high level. I just have a short period of time and hopefully it doesn't hurt the team. That's the one thing that goes in the back of my mind. They've been there all year. Their timing is a little bit better than mine. I'm having to make fast adjustments for 20 baseball games.
I never had a problem with that player.
I'm used to it. It's harder with my leg, though, a lot harder. Why should it be different past to present?
I need to go back to the hotel and put my leg up,
I'm not thinking about the games yet. I want to be there with the guys. I can't wait to get home, to see the fans in San Francisco. I love the ballpark, the city, the fans. I feel I will play this season, but I don't know when.
I'm happy with what I've already done. If I get it, I get it; if I don't, so be it. That's life, baby. That's life. It was fun while it lasted.
I'll be there. I'll be on the field and in the lineup on Opening Day. I think that's fair to say. Based on the way my right knee is feeling right now, I'll be ready.
I'm BACK, ... and I'll see you on Monday when I take the field with my team.
I may wake up and I'm so sore I feel like I can't do it and by two hours later, I feel great and I do it. I've been doing that for years.
I may hit the ball 410 feet and the next one isn't going to go 410 feet, ... Maybe I'll grab my ribcage. That's life. I'm OK with it.
It was heartwarming, wonderful. It's our crowd. It's our town. These are our people. It made me feel great.
Nothing to say. I'd have to get a call to answer that question.
After that at-bat I was spent, ... I got a little tired by like the fifth inning. Your adrenaline is going so hard. I knew that was going to happen. I hung in there as long as I could.
