Barry Lee Alvarezis a former American football coach who is currently the athletic director at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He served as the head football coach at Wisconsin for 16 seasons, from 1990 to 2005, compiling a career college football record of 118–73–4. There's no doubt the profession has changed. At the top of Division I they are going to pay you well and expect you to produce. But none of us should complain. We know the rules going in.
