Barry Lee Alvarezis a former American football coach who is currently the athletic director at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He served as the head football coach at Wisconsin for 16 seasons, from 1990 to 2005, compiling a career college football record of 118–73–4. You look at cross country. We're not the ideal place to be running cross country. There are other schools, because of their weather and everything else, they probably have advantages. Yet, our guys found a way to get it done.
