I wasn't concerned about my career at the end of the game. I was concerned about trying to help my team win. My career never crossed my mind until the final buzzer rang. I guess we just have to accept it and look back and see all the great things that happened this season. I am sure it will take a little while to do that, but when we do, we will be able to look back and smile at the end.

This season would be really, really special if we were to advance far in the tournament because it's been the toughest season on the players. A lot of these younger guys are experiencing stuff they've never experienced before with all of the pressure and all of the talk about us not being able to play together in the Connecticut basketball sense. We learned that when we're in the huddle, we really have to pay attention to detail and make sure that we understand exactly what we're trying to do. I think that's the most important thing. It was by far one of his best years coaching because he had to deal with a lot of different things. He had to grow us into leaders and mold us into leaders. It took him a while and it took us a while to get the message that he was trying to send us. ... I've been playing since early August and it was a slow process getting back in. It wasn't until mid to late September when I started to feel like myself again. I feel light-years better than I did last year coming into this season physically.
