We just can't get the stops, ... With our offense, we're capable of beating any team. But we're not getting it done defensively. Our players gave us everything they've got.

Justice was served because I think the ref gave them a goal. It was unfortunate that it came right at the end of the game. But the guys came through. That's what they're supposed to do.

That really helped lift us. I don't know a better way to lift a team. It gave our guys a lot of confidence. It really made a difference in the start of the half.

They put a lot of pressure on us, and we turned the ball over probably a little bit more than we wanted to. But when we were able to get the ball to the areas that we wanted to, we had good looks at the basket. At times they overextended and gave us some good looks, and we were able to put the ball in the basket.

Even though we had scored 40 points, I don't think it all came smoothly. It was clearly a big lift for us and gave our guys confidence. I knew their 112-pounder was one of their best and a state qualifier. Dylan gave him everything he wanted. He really did. Dylan is a great wrestler, but that was a lot to ask from him.

We just stayed out of trouble all day and tried to keep the fenders on that thing. We were right there in the top-10. That was just Skinner luck.

We weren't patient enough. We settled. There were some opportunities on the perimeter, but you don't have to settle for the shot. You can still drive the ball to the basket. That's the strength of our club.

We went flat and started coasting after the 7-1 lead after two innings. But I thought we played pretty good for the first game of the season.

We're disturbed by that. You want to go out and respect the opponent and respond to that. We didn't take it as a challenge. We just went with the flow. Quite honestly, the game's over. We have to get ready for league play.
