It was really incidental. It wasn't even a distraction for either team. Maybe the fans and everyone else got excited, but for us, for the most part, it really didn't have any impact on the game at all.

It's a great feeling. As tough as our conference is, to go 7-0 is a great accomplishment. It's nice to have the seniors win it for you. That's real special and Sam is a special wrestler. All the seniors are special. We had some matches that could have gone either way. Some of them we won, others we lost. We stepped up and rose to the occasion.

It had nothing to do with the game. It was a well-played game. It wasn't even a distraction for either team. Maybe the fans and everybody else got excited.

You can't fake some things. Either you can play, or you can't. (Fans) want to see if we really can do it. We have to prove we can play. That's basically what we're tying to achieve out there.
