I am e-mailing you to apologize to you for my poor decision regarding Saturday night's loss. The words I spoke were out of anger and not how I truly felt. ... Although I cannot take back what I said, I do want to apologize for what I said, not only to you but to everybody including my teammates and coaching staff, the OVC, the Morehead State women's basketball team, the Lady Gov fans and the officials of Saturday night's game.

I have been used to it the last couple of years, but it's going to be hard for all of the new people playing more minutes. But I think we will be all right.

Morehead State played a very aggressive game and when it came down to it they made the plays and we did not. This is the best Morehead State team I have played against in my career here. I should not have said the things I said and I did not mean them.

It's really tough. I will always think of myself as a Lady Gov. I love it here at Austin Peay, and if I had to do it all over again, I would do it the same way. That's how this program is built, by people staying and believing and sticking with it.
