What I was most pleased with was the bottom of our order. Those girls came into the seventh with the mindset that it wasn't over yet.

The thing I liked was our consistency at the plate. We scored six runs in the first inning, and we had seven hits in a row. We have been waiting until the third or fourth inning to get our hits, but today we started right away.

We did a better job today of putting the ball into play. I think we've been doing a little too much waiting at the plate, and we've been trying to stress to the girls that if the pitch is close and they think they can hit it that they should be going after it.

We're going to make some changes. We had to shake up the lineup in the middle of last season and we went on a tear, and I think it's something we have to look at.

Last year, a lot of the games we loss were due to our youth. We've worked on the mental aspects of the game. A lot of the mistakes and inability to come through with the big hit when we needed had to with maturity.
