pressure feels
The only pressure I feel is what I put on myself.
credit pressure puts
To his credit, that's the kind of pressure he puts on guys.
attention coming hold last pressure shown wimbledon year
He's shown that he can hold up to the pressure really well, like at Wimbledon last year. But this year at Wimbledon he has no idea what's coming with the attention he's going to get.
almost court follow four games glad good high percentage pressure return returns serve service
It was good 'cause I wanted to return well. I feel like after the first four games of the match, I really started doing that. I put a high percentage of returns in the court and put pressure on him almost every service game. And if I can do that, it will make my serve look that much better to the other guys. I'm glad I was able to follow through on our game plan.
pressure
It put a little more pressure on us.
battles couple pressure week wing
A lot of pressure is off ... by us doing well this week as well, ... I feel like I've been through a couple battles here. I'm excited. I'm going to go out there and just wing it and have fun.
best clay easily lost match needed
Without doubt, this was my best match on clay and it needed to be. I could have easily lost today.
bit felt four good hours run shock totally
This totally blindsided me, ... I just felt like I was going to have a pretty good run here. I'm in a little bit of shock right now, to be honest. I'd give anything to go back four hours right now.
felt good run totally
This totally blindsided me, ... I felt like I was going to have a good run here.
tennis fifth
Is that the longest fifth set ever? It was? So, no, I've never played one longer than that!
people return volley
I used to hear a lot that all I could do was hit a serve, I couldn't volley, I can't hit a backhand, I don't return well, and then people would turn round and tell me I'm underachieving.
successful player
I'm the most successful bad player ever.
jobs winning should-have
Tennis analyst is the easiest job in the world because whatever the person does, if it works you just say that's what's good, and if it doesn't work, you guys go, 'He should have done the other things.'.It just doesn't take much thought. If I'm grinding and I'm winning, you guys are like, 'He's reinvented himself.' If I'm playing like crap and pushing, then, you know, 'He's horrible and he needs to hit the ball.'
giving tennis lines
I do understand that when someone gives you a [expletive] load of money, you take that money. Someone like Larry Ellison wants to invest into his event and make it the biggest possible, and he gets stopped by the ATP. If you're a start-up, what would make you want to navigate through that and to go through that firing line? How can you step into tennis with any confidence? It's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of.
