care cup hold match rest win
I don?t care if I don?t win another match the rest of the year, if I can hold up that Cup at the end of the year.
base beat people players playing prospects pulling
I don't base my prospects on people pulling out. You have to beat the players playing best.
animated chips coming definitely fans passionate props stepped
I'd also like to say props to the Chilean fans for coming out and being that passionate about their team. That's amazing. When the chips were down, though, our fans definitely stepped up as well and got pretty animated and pretty heated, which was fun.
bit shock
I am in a little bit of shock right now,
against court good hard max miss played serves
Max played well. He always serves good and didn't miss many volleys. Sometimes you don't feel you're on the court against him. It can go by so quickly, it's hard to find a rhythm.
changes dynamic percentage totally
My first-serve percentage was up where I wanted to be and that totally changes the dynamic of a match. All the important stats were good.
break control corner felt match playing today tough turned
My getting that break was tough on him, ... I felt like I was in control of the match at that point. Today I felt like I turned the corner to playing well. I felt good, feel like I'm in a groove.
happiness returned
I was super-happy with the way I returned tonight,
champions deciding expect finish grand playing race ride route since sitting slam title trophy
I was sitting there in May not really playing much after the French, kind of deciding what route I wanted to go, ... I didn't really expect to finish up so strong. To have a Grand Slam title and then the Champions Race No. 1 trophy as well, it's been a ride since then.
feels guess hope last playing position team third
I guess I'm the one in the right place at the right time. I always play first on the last day. I like playing on the third day, and my team has always put me in position to come through.before. It feels good. I just hope I can keep it going.
cheering fans feeling guess win
I guess I'm at the right place at the right time. There's no better feeling than to win with all these fans cheering you on.
apologize event expected fans honor loyal masters qualified sponsors tennis
I apologize to the loyal fans and sponsors that have expected my participation in Tennis Masters Cup, ... It is an honor for me to have qualified for this event for the third-straight year.
ball hitting lost move ready reason regroup
But that's not the reason I lost the match. He wanted it more than I did. He is hitting the ball better than I am right now. I didn't come here ready to play. I'll regroup and move on.
bit felt shock totally
I'm a little bit in shock right now to be honest. I've never felt better going into a slam. This has totally blindsided me.
