games play careers
I understand how much everyone wanted to see a British winner at Wimbledon and I hope everyone enjoyed it. I worked so hard in that last game. It's the hardest few points I've had to play in my life. I don't know how I came through the final three points... that last game ... my head was kind of everywhere. That last game will be the toughest game I'll play in my career, ever.
kids years games
I try to anticipate the ball well. That's something that's helped me since when I was a kid. Just learning to anticipate and read the game well. That's helped me. When I moved over to Spain and I was 15 I was playing with big guys who were 22 years to 28 years old and I was 15 so I couldn't beat them with power. I had to beat them with touch shots and variety and anticipation and all of those things. I learned a lot when I was over there.
games tennis elements
I wouldn't say I'm a spender in the sense that I'm going out on huge spending sprees. However, to be able to function at the top of your game on the professional tennis circuit often requires an element of frequent spending.
challenge enjoy next
I've never thought about doing this. I just enjoy a challenge ... This is the next challenge.
determination fall goals great scoring
Vancouver's got such a great team. To fall down two goals to them (and come back), showed a lot of determination on the part of our team. I thought we had the better scoring chances.
against alongside brother chance containing cup england event great home likes memorable occasion people promises scotland special sure team
The Aberdeen Cup promises to be a memorable event. To play for a Scotland team on my home turf against an England team containing the likes of Greg Rusedski is a great opportunity. To have the chance to play alongside my brother will make it a particularly special occasion and I'm sure the people of Aberdeen will make it an event to remember.
confident feeling normally obviously returning serve
He obviously didn't serve as well as he can. I don't know if that was because I was returning very well or if he just wasn't feeling as confident as he normally was.
against best chances easier good match players struggling
Obviously, Ferrero's one of the best players in the world, ... My chances wouldn't have been so good against him. But Clement has been struggling a little bit. It's probably an easier match than it would have been against Ferrero.
certainly earlier penalty rankings shot
We go by the rankings we have in practice, and he certainly was one of our better ones. He scored on a penalty shot earlier this year.
good penalty power tonight took
Tonight we took some unnecessary penalties. Our penalty kill was not good and their power play was good.
hard trying
I've been working hard on my composure, trying not to show much emotion.
break hold serve sick taking tough
It was pretty tough to go and hold your serve after taking a break as long as that. I didn't feel sick at all after that. It didn't make a difference.
annoyed bit gotten time
It was pretty funny. I was just a little bit annoyed at the time because I'd gotten a bit of momentum. Then, obviously, I had to stop.
beat court great
It's great just to be on the court with him. To beat him is amazing.
