few hopefully
Hopefully she'll come to a few more tournaments.
game great played solid
I didn't play a great game at 6-5 but I played a pretty solid one.
embrace good level matches players
A lot of the players are very complimentary about each other; they embrace at the end of matches because the level of the tennis has been so good. I think that's something that tennis has got to be proud of.
The only pressure I feel is the pressure I put on myself to win.
although family father love loved worked
One of the things I would have loved to have had was a family that worked better together, although I love my mother and father to bits.
home
When I'm at home, I enjoy going go-karting.
It's easy to start over-thinking things and over-analysing things.
beaten beating few ways
When you have beaten guys a few times, you don't want them to think they know how you are going to play them. You have to try and find different ways of beating them. You have to do things they don't expect sometimes, put something unpredictable into your game.
interested left people seem tactics
People say to me, 'You don't seem that interested in interviews.' Well, you know, I'm not, often. I'm not going to talk tactics with the press, so you are left with talking about how you are feeling; for me, it is not the most interesting thing to be doing.
certainly deal fact focus great knows penalty players pleased positive sean side stay today
The penalty at the end of the game, you're not pleased about, but the focus today for the most part should be on the fact that Sean had a great game. Sean knows how I feel about things, and I think our players are going to deal with that with Sean. We always want him to stay on the positive side of things, but certainly we're not pleased with the penalties.
bit calories
When I'm training in December, I have to eat like 6,000 calories a day to maintain my weight. It's a bit tiring.
beginning bit break drink energy felt final hold serve start taking tired took tough
I was a little bit tired at the beginning of the final set, so I started to drink (an energy drink) and always when I drink it I start to feel a little bit sick, ... I took too much and felt like I was going to burp, then yuk! It's very tough to go and hold your serve after taking a break as long as that but I got back on track.
bruce coached consistent fairly hughes jim seven stayed system
I think we've stayed fairly consistent in our approach. We play the same system in Manchester. Bruce Boudreau coached there for seven years there and coached the way we like to coach up here. And now that Jim Hughes is (there), he's doing the same thing.
age australian believe best few problems starts win
I actually can't believe it. I didn't have the best of starts this season; I had a few problems at the Australian Open. But to win at such a young age is pretty special.
