surprised
I think I'm the most surprised out of anyone.
fairly good ourselves shape top
We've put ourselves in fairly good shape now. We're not in the top eight, but we're right there. If we want to do it, we can do it.
complain tested
We tested Turco and he made the big saves. We can't complain about how we played.
fun
We had some fun and got away from the rink.
good hockey maybe mentally normally ready second sharp
On a different occasion, maybe when it's not our second night, I think we have a little more jump. We were not as sharp mentally as we normally are. They're a good hockey team, but so are we. I think if we play them in the playoffs, we'll be ready and I think we'll give a better performance.
continue feels playing playoffs win
Right now every win feels great. Were playing for the playoffs it's right there for us if we continue to play well.
balance experience good guys
We have a pretty good balance of new guys and guys who have been here before. You look to the guys with experience to tell you what to expect. It should be good.
advantage feeling finished good hopefully instilled locker winning
The advantage is we finished on a good note, so that winning feeling is hopefully instilled in this locker room.
against behind game importance points road stress
We've got to put this one behind us. We've got one more game on the road against Vancouver. You can't stress the importance of these games. We need these points for getting into the playoffs.
amaze continues easy everybody ice plays smart team
He's just so smart out there. When you're on the ice with him, he makes everything easy for you. He continues to amaze everybody on this team with the plays he makes.
definitely desire follows intensity learn watching
He definitely has that intensity on the ice, a desire to win. When you see that it's contagious, everyone follows him. He's the leader. You learn something every day watching him on the ice.
game intensity playoff start treat
I just think we have to get the intensity up at the start of the game and get motivated. Treat these like playoff games, because that's what they are for us.
care evaluate focus
I try not to think about it too much. Usually if you do the other things, the little things, the one-on-one battles, and focus on some of the other things, things take care of themselves. When you're on a streak, you try not to evaluate it too much. You just go play your game.
bit good lead played shut struggled tonight
It's always good to get the lead early. We've struggled a bit with that this year. Tonight I thought we played well once we got the lead and we shut them down.
