game matter start
We just have to start winning. Every game is important. We still have chances. We're still in the race. Win, no matter how. That is all there is to it.
game heads keeping
This was very important for us. We're still alive. We are keeping our heads in the game and in the race.
ball broke fighting forced game half playing pushed third zone
I think we forced them to play our game in the third quarter. The first half was kind of just fighting back and forth. Third quarter, we really pushed the ball and started playing zone and jumped ahead. I think we kind of broke them in the third quarter.
fourth free game line throw
From the line I was concentrating. I was a machine. I like scoring, especially from the free throw line, especially in the fourth quarter, especially with the game on the line.
fourth game opportunity quarter tremendous
We had an opportunity to keep (the lead), but Dirk had a tremendous game and in the fourth quarter he just killed us.
couple games moving previous stayed terrific tonight
We stayed with our game. A couple of the previous games we were terrible, but tonight we did a terrific job. We were happy, we were moving and rolling.
amazing game guy won
He's amazing and I think he's the guy that won the game tonight.
beginning crowd felt game happy help huge playoff stayed stretch tough
I felt that this game was a playoff game. This crowd was a huge help for them (the Hornets). I'm very happy that we stayed as a team. Even when we had a tough stretch at the beginning we still stayed together.
everybody good ready win yesterday
We had a day off yesterday and I think everybody had a good day off and was ready for the game. For the most part I'm excited, especially to win the game.
ball beat denver fast forced forget push run worked
We started to push the ball and beat Denver at their game. They like to run a lot and sometimes they forget about defense. So we kind of forced them to get back with fast attack. I think it worked well.
catch difference found hard playing
We found that streak, and we just started playing hard defensively. That's the difference we should play every night. We need to catch it.
ball executing hot matt trying
Matt was the only one who was executing our offense. He was hot and we were just trying to get the ball in his hands.
coach good job mad ourselves picking second
Of course, coach was mad and everyone understands. We can't play like this. I think we did a pretty good job of picking ourselves up in the second half.
energy except focusing fourth good held job lots portland quarter
I wouldn't say we had lots of energy but we did a pretty good job on concentrating and focusing on the game, and we held down Portland defensively except for the fourth quarter when Zach Randolph started scoring. I think we held them good. Offensively, we just executed well and didn't give them any chance.
