Whenever anybody as a receiver is making plays to help the team, you get your blood flowing and you get excited and you really get into the game, which is hard to do when that's not happening,
It's hard to get upset, hard to get frustrated, when your whole team is happy and you're putting up the most points that our team has put up in a long time, ... You just have to take a step back sometimes and appreciate the situation, because wins are hard to come by in this league.
It's been hard for me because I had a good relationship with Kerry. It'll be tough to see him in other colors.
I've seen Kerry when he's hot and he's a tough guy to stop. So we've got to be up for the challenge. I know we really want to win this division, so if he wants to exact his revenge, we're going to have to do what we can.
It was what it was last year. You kind of expected things to happen the way they did. This year's a different year and everybody's looking at it with a positive attitude.
I still consider myself a contributor, a big contributor, ... But I don't know how it's going to play out once the regular season begins.
Eli took a huge step forward today, ... I always thought this year would be his year to really step out.
Eli, he's progressing. You can see flashes. He's definitely going in the right direction.
I've always thought this year would be his year. And after what happened last week, we definitely needed to come up with a big game at home.
Everybody was talking about how tough it is to play in Kansas City. Yet we came onto the field and everyone was so supportive. It was strange to get that kind of greeting in another team's stadium. Everyone was so sympathetic.
Conceptually, it's an advantage for us. But you never know how it's going to turn out when you play the game.
Did he say that? Wow. Well, he's the guy that can do it.
I wish Kurt luck every week but this one.
It feels real good. We accomplished a lot. The so-called experts had us finishing last in the division. That goes to show how much they know.
