confident expecting experience freshman last striving
I'm striving for state. Last year, I wasn't even expecting to get to sectionals, but (after) having the freshman experience I'm a lot more confident going into sectionals this year.
afraid ahead cautious pin work
You have to be a lot more cautious going for a pin when you're behind, because if it doesn't work out you're in a lot of trouble. You're not as afraid to do it when you're ahead by points.
good learn next nice wrestle
It was good to wrestle someone of that caliber; it's nice to have that challenge. It will be good to learn from it and do better next time.
agree purposely
I kind of agree with it. I wasn't purposely stalling, but I wasn't getting anything on him either. That's the referee's decision.
experience last sophomore year
It's great, (especially) being a sophomore and everything. All the experience from last year really helped.
