Alan Joseph Fanecais a former professional American football player who was a guard in the National Football Leaguefor thirteen seasons. What Jerome means to everybody in that locker room is something special and I think what he means to the organization is something special. If anybody in this organization, team or locker room deserves it, he does because of what he means to us and what he has maintained as the identity of this organization for so long.

Everybody is just thinking that he's the big guy, he's The Bus, and he's going to run you down. He's got a great vision from the field, too. He can pick and choose where the hole is.

I think this team has rallied around him and what he's meant to this organization for so long and knowing that this could be his last ride. The fact that it's in his hometown means a lot to the guys in here to make it happen for him because he's meant that much to us.
