They don't want me to go out there while it's still swollen. They want to kind of wait until the swelling goes down. Good thing we have a Monday night game - we get an extra day. But, I expect to be playing on Monday night ... hopefully.

I worked hard on not getting the holding penalties. A lot of times I thought I had good coverage on Rogers, No. It ain't about who starts. The coaches . . . they kind of stuck by me. I wasn't doing a bad job until I gave up that big play.

Doesn't matter who's starting but, in my mind, I'm thinking I have the job. I want to be the guy out there finishing. There's just certain things I have to work on like taking that interception all the way to the end zone.

They expect me to be a shut-down corner like Al (Harris) is. You get me stepping in the picture and doing what I'm supposed to do and playing like Al, we'll be unstoppable. I've got to play consistent. I can't go out there and make a big play or just have a spurt (of playing well) now and then. They want me to play like that all the time. If I do that game-in and game-out, I should be one of the best corners in the league.

He made it clear that we can't have anybody out there getting penalties and still being on the field. So I think Joey will be starting. He hasn't gotten any penalties and he had a good game the time he was in there.

If I start the rest of the year, I'll go out there and get six interceptions. My goal is to get 10 this year and I'll have to get them in 14 games now.

You can't get mad at the refs. They made the call. Live with it and get better at it. A lot of them you think are ticky-tack, but a penalty is a penalty.
