ball eat
It's not fun. But we can't quit. We still have a lot of ball left. We can't let this eat at us.
Not that I will have anything to do with it,
felt girl next offense serious standing
That guy's unbelievable. That's some serious pop. The guy's huge. I felt like a little girl standing next to him at first base. No offense to girls.
It was miscommunication, ... It was my fault.
lay lets win
This was a big one because it lets them know that we're not going to lay down and let them win the division.
home lose playoffs rather worse
There's nothing worse than to lose in the first round, ... I'd rather not be in the playoffs at all. There's nothing worse than to have to go home after a loss.
dominating exactly hit time
I don't know exactly what it is. But any time you've got a guy, as dominating as he can be when he's on, getting hit around, you know something is different.
entire feels game known might road won
I wouldn't have even known that if you didn't just tell me. It feels like we might have won one game on this entire road trip.
almost feels game losing second tough
Losing that second game the way we did, it almost feels like we've been swept. That's a tough loss.
team past trying
Any time you lose a few in a row, you have to hit reset and come back tomorrow and do the best you can to forget about how the past series went. It's frustrating. Individually it's frustrating. I'm trying to figure it out. And I know as a team, it sucks losing a few in a row any time. So you know, we'll snap out of it.
trying today come-up
Today, ... anything you can come up with that works is worth trying.
beat break cross fact late might mind nine pitcher shot soon though until
As soon as he didn't break, it didn't cross my mind until after the fact that the pitcher was on first and even though I had to get up, I might have had a shot at getting him at second. If you get a late break on Rollins, nine times out of 10, he's going to beat you to the bag.
balls couple fall guys ninth work
It's just one of those things. I gambled and lost. It just didn't work out. The guys battled real hard, we just couldn't get a couple of balls to fall in the ninth inning.
basically
It's basically like having two No. 1 starters.
