We had them on the ropes and on their heels once we got up by 12. You could tell they were a little shaken. All we had to do was play tough for another three, four minutes and things would have probably swayed our way.

We had the call from Colorado. Come to find out it was a radio station having fun at the lottery's expense. Then another guy called and said he had the winning ticket and he was going to bring it in and we're still waiting for him.

We had talked about being in the game right away. Their (Yorkville) plan was to get up early and try to maintain it, and they held on. I thought they did a good job hitting shots when they needed to.

We won it with our defense, which gave me some ammunition. We didn't score much in the fourth quarter, but neither did they. To hold them to 18 points, that's the only way we could win.

We won 55 ball games in eight years, and that's a good record for anybody. My only regret - that 4-5 season sticks in my craw. I'm retiring as a coach, and I feel good about my retirement.

We try to design our pavements as efficiently as we can. If we have a limited supply of money, and we do, we might have to reduce the length of the job, delay other jobs, or look for other ways to save money.
