Everybody wants to start. That's my plan. You always expect to start, and that's my goal.

It wasn't my night. I've got to take responsibility for that and try to cut down on the mistakes.

I couldn't get things going, so it gets frustrating. As a quarterback you want to make plays and put them in the end zone, and it just wasn't happening.

I am not going to make excuses for the situation. Obviously it's an advantage, but that's the way it works. It's not over. We still have a lot of preseason and a lot of training camp left. You have to come out fighting. Believe me, I am not going to lay down here.

It's bittersweet, ... It didn't work out here. It's something I've got to swallow. They had high expectations and I had high expectations for myself. For some reason... I've got to put it on myself. But it happened.
game limited rep
You've got to make the most out of every rep you get, as limited as they may be at times, in a game or at practice; you've got to make the most of them.
advantage both coming gives giving great ronnie run throw
You could throw to both of them coming out of the backfield, because Ronnie is a great receiver, and so is Ricky. It gives us an advantage of giving the look that we can run the football, but we could also throw it. So you're going to see it a lot this season.
