As being a Washingtonian I just think that Howard is a great institution. I mean this Gym was built in what 1963, so of course there are some things that need to be improved upon. So I need to get the student-athletes that have graduated to give back, because that is what is going to get us going. I have to convince the alumni to get on board, because there are some things that the university can't do alone.

People told me that nobody was going to show up. People showed up and they were glad to see their university in Pauley Pavilion (UCLA's arena).
