control emily except exploded finish quite realize scoring sharp statement talked total
We talked about scoring in the first inning because we realize how important it is for us. We exploded out, and made a statement immediately. We couldn't quite finish it, but we did get to play everybody. Emily (Turner) wasn't as sharp as she has been, but she was still in total control except for one pitch.
alabama balanced emily few hits key murphy potent proud question shut team
We had a few key hits and Emily shut down a very potent Alabama offense. There is no question that this is the most balanced Alabama team that Patrick Murphy has ever had. I'm very proud of our team.
almost clutch defense happen hit hitting lost opponent played runners scoring team three
The defense was there, but we just never got the clutch hit all weekend. We out-hit almost every opponent and lost three games. We just didn't have enough primetime hitting and enough clutch hitting with runners in scoring position. The team played hard, but it just didn't happen today.
athlete deserves emily hardest incredible literally positives seeing
What an incredible honor, not only for Emily, but also for our program. Emily deserves all of the positives she is seeing in her performances because she is literally the hardest working athlete I have ever coached.
against alabama appears atmosphere balanced best crimson excited expect forward great looking playing shot team tide tremendous
We are very excited about playing in a regional-type atmosphere against a tremendous Alabama team this weekend. This appears to be the most balanced Crimson Tide team that we have ever seen. We expect nothing but their best shot and are looking forward to a great series.
bigger everybody mission needed worked
Mission accomplished. We got to play everybody and we worked on some things that we needed to work on. Now it's on to much bigger and better things.
hit home klein looks loves run
Leslie Klein hit her first home run in two years. She looks like she's back and she loves softball.
battered came continues good harris hit huge klein warrior
Leslie Klein came up with a huge hit today. Camille Harris has just been a warrior for us. She is battered and bruised, but she continues to make plays. It was a good sweep.
ball chance competition gets good hard hit overall played
I thought it was an exceptional day for the Tigers. We hit the ball hard and played good defense. Everyone had a chance to play. The competition gets a little better tomorrow, but overall I was very happy.
against ball bit control emily hard moved oregon outing rough state threw throw
I thought it was important for Emily to throw tonight. She had a rough outing against Oregon State and we wanted to give her back a little bit of confidence. She threw hard and I thought her ball moved well. She was in control during the game.
continues harris hill hole klein phenomenal power second
Stephanie Hill was just phenomenal today. Leslie Klein continues her tear. Camille Harris showed power from the second hole that we have been lacking.
bat chances closer credit excellent game key plate played quite swing third ucla
I thought we played excellent and we had some chances but didn't quite capitalize. The game was closer than the score, but credit UCLA for making the play at the plate in the third inning and getting the one key swing of the bat to win it.
dynamite emily
I thought that Emily was dynamite in the first game.
ballgame break chances gotten outcome ready win
I think we were here ready to play and if we could have gotten a break or two here or there, the outcome could have been different. We had chances to win the ballgame and we'll have more chances down the road.
