We've been talking about trying to get these girls down below (13 minutes, 30 seconds). They're going in the right direction. We've running with a pretty inexperienced group, but if they keep going, they're going to be right there.

We weren't in the cellar. We got some points from different people so that was good.
bad easy fold weather
You got to give him that. It would've been easy to fold when the weather got bad but he didn't do that.

You figure you've got about 175 meters out of 400 straight into the wind. He ran pretty good.
hopefully kids seeing stick younger
It's encouraging seeing some of these younger kids have some success. Hopefully they'll stick with it and get better. They're working hard.

It wasn't that bad early it was just raining a little. But the wind had really kicked in by evening.

We didn't compete as a team as well as we needed too. We've got a lot of work to do, but we look back and see that we're not loaded with a whole lot of junior and seniors. Though that doesn't matter, whether you're a senior or a sophomore you still have to go out and win the race. Look at Hansen. He was going to go out and run a good race, that's what it's all about.
choose feet patch standing
They had one patch with one or two feet of standing water. You could choose to go around it or right through it.
consistent last year
He's a lot more consistent than he was last year and that's got to be encouraging for him.
came decided looked maybe mindset work
We looked at it and we decided that maybe we haven't been doing all the right things. He came away with the mindset that 'I can still do this, maybe I just need to work on it more.' So that was encouraging.

All things considered, I think he's happy with that.
