anytime ball evaluate gets guy threw throws
Things still could change, but Vic threw the ball well, ... As I said earlier, we'll evaluate as we go, but anytime a guy throws well, does well, he gets the upper hand.
bust gets hitters
Sometimes big hitters try to do too much. Sometimes he gets down on himself, but we keep him going. He's going to bust out of it.
gets needs sure
I think he understands that he needs to make sure everything is right before he gets out there.
gets seems time
It's unfortunate that every time he seems to get going he gets injured. It's frustrating because we can't keep him in the lineup.
bat extended gets good legs monitor news onto playing spring starts swinging training
It's good news that he's getting back onto the field. But even when he starts playing extended spring training games, we still need to monitor how he looks. You want him, hopefully, swinging the bat well and have his legs under him so when he gets back, he can contribute.
definitely gets pitches strike work
It?s kind of a double-edged sword. You definitely want to be aggressive. but if you take pitches then he gets strike one on you; then he can go to work on you.
against certain environment gets lights pitch playing positive saw stuff until
I saw him pitch lights out many times against the Yankees. We have to play this stuff out. I'm just being really positive about him because I know he can do certain things. But until he gets into this new environment playing for us, you don't know that.
benefits compete experience gets great loves start
He's going to start in Triple-A. The experience is great for him. The more experience he gets at this level, he benefits from it. He loves to compete and he's not intimidated too much.
gets glad next plays wait win
I'm glad we got the win today. Jae Seo gets his next start. Then we'll wait and see how it plays out.
bat swinging
We've been swinging the bat well all year. Everyone contributes to that.
couple good leaving pitchers ran shut
We just ran into a couple of good pitchers and they shut us down after leaving Arizona.
gave regular routine stay
We just gave a heads-up that's a possibility. He'll stay on a regular routine for now and then we'll see.
games might win
We might win 15 games in a row.
fair options speculate time
We could do a lot of different things. It's not fair to speculate right after the game, when you've got time to think what your options are.
