across bothering guys injuries knew league severe talking type
That's Donovan. We're not talking about Donovan, we're talking about Tom. I didn't know how severe it was, but I knew it was bothering him. But you have guys who play with all type of injuries across the league and on our team.
clutch ethic grounded guy hard high keeps level matter playing talented type work
No matter what's happening, what type of receivers come in that could be more talented than him, his work ethic and high level of playing -- big plays, making plays, and being clutch -- keeps him grounded here. It keeps him stable. Makes it hard not to like a guy like that.
game ourselves plan ready stop trying
We are trying to get ourselves ready for our game plan and stop the run. If we can't do that, nothing else really matters.
aggressive hit people
We're going to be aggressive and go at people and hit people.
against best guys statements sunday teams voices win
Voices don't win games; playmakers do. If I want to make a statement, then this Sunday we'll be out there, all the guys that need to make statements will be out there making their statements against one of the best teams in the league. That's what we'll try to do. That's how we'll make our statement.
allowing games stopping
We've been stopping the run, allowing us to make games more one-dimensional.
bruce category company definitely good guys humbled smith
We had a good time. In the company of guys like Bruce Smith and Reggie White, it's definitely a compliment. I'm just humbled to be in the same category with those guys.
beat excuses faced fair men
We don't make excuses for our losses. We play fair and square. They outplayed us. We are not going to say we were banged up or we didn't have everybody. We went out there and faced them like men and they beat us.
contract help sign team
I didn't want to go to a team to sign a contract and get some money. I wanted to be a part of a family. They made me feel like family. They made me feel needed, like I could come in and help them.
anyone cares goal happened locker matters nobody supposed
Nobody cares about what happened during the season. It's all irrelevant. The only thing that matters is what we do now. If we don't do what we're supposed to, we go home. And I don't think that's the goal of anyone in this locker room.
hard players spoken takes work
I have spoken to players who have been there before and they work hard and do all the things it takes to win. Same here.
measure
I have a lot (left). I don't measure by years. I take it day by day.
plug
Having him back helps. I don't know if he can plug all the holes, but it'll help.
family gives reason
He's a big reason why I came. He's like a father. He makes you feel comfortable and gives you that family atmosphere.
