Levi can play multiple positions, he's a fierce competitor and he has adjusted to his new role of coming into games. He held down the fort. The guys were a little flat and I was concerned about the amount of games over the past week and a half.

It has been a while since I ran US 36. ... It is a fast place. You get a lot of G's in the corners. It's flat out each and every lap. It would be great to get a couple of wins this weekend as we start wrapping up the season. We have 9 so far and have a goal of 15. We won at Moberly (24 Raceway) last year and have done really well at that track, so I am looking forward to getting back there.

Our men played well, we just couldn't get things going our way. They battled hard, but came up short. Andy had a good win, but we were flat in our doubles and hopefully when we get the chance to play them again we will perform much better.

They all claim they're great bowlers. There's a lot of trash-talking going on in the locker room about who's going to win. We're trying to keep it loose and have a lot of fun.

Between 11 and midnight (Friday night) I'm going to make sure that I'm out on that football field for at least a half hour shaking hands and thanking students. At 6:45 a.m. (today) I'm going to hand out doughnuts to the students. I want everybody to feel a part of this. It's not a PR stunt; it's just who I am. I really appreciate all the support we've gotten this year.

We don't want to pack our uniforms up for the year at 9:30 (tonight). Might that happen? Sure. I know all you guys think that, and everybody in the country thinks that. But when you're dealing with one game, anything can happen.

Four years ago I had a vision, I had a plan. I'm not sure how many people believed in that vision and believed in that plan.

I don't think our staff or our players would have any problem if we had to face them in the conference tournament. They're a well-coached team and they're a good, solid team, but we won the regular season in this league so we're ready to play anybody that's put in front of us.

Several people have told me this is the biggest on-campus sporting event in the history of the Capital District. It's the biggest game, obviously, that we've ever played in the history of the men's basketball program here.
