believe boils emotions family hard level love strongest
That's very hard to define. I guess, commitment. I don't believe in love at first sight. I'm in love with my wife, but I don't always feel the same level of love. Your emotions go up and down. The strongest love is between family members, and ultimately, it boils down to commitment.
grew listen time wanting
Yeah, Yngwie Malmsteen is mind-blowing, but I can't listen to it! At the time I couldn't listen to it! But I grew up wanting to be like that.
girls marc nine saw
When I first saw Marc Bolan I was like nine years old, I said, 'That's what I want to do.' The long hair, the makeup, having girls around was cool.

bands black blood breed creativity following geared guy hair industry matter music next opinion seattle sound sudden trying wear
Trying to get an opinion from an A&R guy is like trying to get blood out of a stone! It doesn't breed creativity. As a matter of fact, it would really sicken me if something like the Seattle sound happened, and all of a sudden there's hundreds of bands who wear grungy clothing, have greasy, long hair and sound like their in Black Sabbath. The whole music industry is geared to following the next big thing. It's sad, but that's the business.
bigger bit gamble grunge huge music people respond
Yes, it's a bit of a gamble that people are going to respond to the album, but I think that grunge has run its course. That's not to say our music is going to be huge today, but we have a much bigger chance, because people will be more open-minded.
kinda playing
It's a lot more comfortable, I must say. Ummm, I didn't think I'd be playing with another band, I kinda thought I was through with that, but I make an exception because they're nice people.
And remember: without you, all we are is loud. No pressure.
This is the only place I'll come for gas.
beyond capture clinical environment house interested opposed performance recording
Once you're in that mindset, when you're recording in a house as opposed to a clinical environment of a studio, you get beyond that, and you try to capture a performance more than sonic perfection, which is what we were interested in.
climate industry return sort took warming
Slang' was a really stripped-down, live-sounding record. But this time, we wanted to return to our sort of sound, because the climate in the industry was warming up to it, ... We put on 'Hysteria' and 'Pyromania' and took our sonic cues from those albums.

into the history of blues music itself, and into my own traits as a musician, too.
case cheek destined knew tongue
I never had a real job, you know, I always knew I was destined for stardom. That's tongue in cheek by the way in case you haven't noticed.
