I was trying to make a play get the ball and be aggressive. I felt I could get in there and get a call but to no avail.

I call him 'Pretty Ricky,' ... I like him because he's one of those guys, he plays hard. If you pull him aside and try to help him, he's willing to learn. He's very attentive and he asks questions. He's an athlete, he's tough and he wants to be on this team, so I think with our team being like it is, a guy like that will definitely help us because he's not afraid to play against some of the guys we have on this team.

We weren't pleased with our first half last game. We felt if we played better in the first half we could win tonight. It was all about effort and energy.

We feel we can compete against the best teams in the league. But against the better teams, you can't have the mental mistakes late in the game, because that's when the better team will prevail. They hit some big shots and we left them wide open to hit some big shots.

We got out really good and set the tone. Our experience in the big games helped a lot. We were a little more poised than they were, I think.
