Fairfield had 20 wins and we were looking forward to a close game. But the kids played some of their best basketball and we really dominated.

It was a tough game to play, coming off the back end of exams and an emotional victory over New Britain on Martin Luther King Day. We played well enough to take care of business. I'm not happy or upset with our effort.

The weather has not cooperated. We're in a stretch where we'll play seven matches in ten days. It doesn't allow us a lot of practice time.

Defensively I thought we did a pretty good job with our 1-3-1 zone defense in the first half. We found their shooters when they tried to overload it.
