bike confident great job pole position quite team weekend worked
I was quite confident for pole position because the team have done a great job with the bike this weekend and it worked well from yesterday,
bike confident fantastic happy lap pole position second time tomorrow worked
I'm happy because the bike worked well. I was confident of a pole position but Nicky set a fantastic lap time ... and second position for tomorrow is not so bad.
factory fantastic hard relationship stay team worked yamaha
I have a fantastic relationship with this factory and my team crew, who have worked so hard to make the M1 as competitive as it is now, and it just made sense to stay with Yamaha for another year.
bike changes corners fast few full good lap looking lots means potential problems quite riders speed team today tried vibration within work yesterday
We still have quite a few problems with the vibration and this means that we can't use the bike to its full potential and make fast lap times. We've tried lots of changes to the set-up today - balance, suspension, but the problem remains. In some of the fast corners my speed is down by as much as 15 or 20kms. The good thing is that we're much better than yesterday and we've done some really good work within the team to make these improvements, but it's still not enough and some other riders are looking very strong.
bike case hope testing worked
Our bike worked really well when we went to Qatar for pre-season testing so we hope that this will be the case again.
work-out understanding machines
It's a big, big advantage because understanding what changes we might make takes time and it takes time to work out settings and to understand everything about the new machine.
home humility hard-work
I think the secret is to understand that you still want to be part of the game. To do so, you have to forget all the victories you've managed to get in the previous years and have a great humility. You also need to realise that, if you want to go on, you have to work hard. If you dwell too much on your past successes and say "well, I have won nine world titles and more than 100 races", you'd rather stay home.
ferrari invited since
Ferrari invited me to come and test, and since I was on vacation, I went,
everybody starts target wants year
Every year starts from scratch. I know that I am the one everybody wants to beat. It's like I have a target on my back.
behind best catch points start
Qatar was like the start of my championship but we're already behind in the points and we need to do our best to catch up.
gives great last motivation motivational racing taste yamaha
Racing with Yamaha gives me a great taste and a great motivation to win; these last two championships have been two of the best,
follow point tried
At this point we don't know which way to follow because we have tried everything.
bit complacent easy fact ferrari following ready team tougher win year
Did the fact that 2004 was so (relatively) easy to win the championship make Ferrari a little bit more complacent going into 2005, and following on from that, does this year being so difficult, make the team tougher and ready for 2006?
beginning casey expect good honest job season strong
To be honest I didn't expect Casey to be so strong at the beginning of the season and he is doing a very good job on the Honda.
