Your freshman year is tough enough as it is. Mitchell is probably walking into as tough a weight class as there is.

It was tough. It was good though. That's one reason I wanted to go -- for these younger kids, and for the team as a whole. It's really run like state with the weigh-ins and needing passes to get in.

Everybody won some matches, so it was good for them. It was a confidence booster.

I tell you, we will leave a lot of kids at home from our region that would medal at state.

This will be a tough month. We've had a good week of practice.

We started off great. It's a long season for a freshman. We are just getting worn down. From here on out, it's got to be all heart and working on that mental aspect of the game.
