behind best coming eight gets offense proved
I think we proved that we can play with the best of them. When their offense gets behind the eight ball, we know they have to pass, and we're coming on every down.
ball folks gets good grabbing hope line move moving offense offensive played run straight
Their offensive line got really tired, ... They started grabbing folks and weren't moving their feet. They played a lot, and when you play a lot on offense and don't move the ball a lot, that gets a team's spirit. There wasn't too much to it really. Run straight and hope something good happens.
ball behind eight far pool
We would have been so far behind the eight ball we would have been off the pool table.
baltimore best bullied bullies drive except forget past tired
You get tired of being bullied like I feel we get bullied at times, ... Indianapolis bullies us. Baltimore bullies us. And I don't like bullies. That's where the drive is. . . . I just don't know how else we get past that except for saying, 'Look, we're going to go out there and forget about doing the best we can, we have to win.'
games guess night week
I guess I had some of that in me. But it's only one night and it's Week 3. There's still 13 games left.
answers anywhere doctor gave hurt yesterday
Yesterday on my physical, the doctor gave me an X-ray and she said she couldn't find anywhere where I got hurt on my back, so that pretty much answers your question.
ball corner far field glaring instead kindness left middle obviously picked running shows statistics team telling throwing weakness winds
Our middle linebacker's an All-Pro and he had (90) tackles. That shows you what kind of team we have. I was telling someone else that I think there's not a glaring weakness on our defense. Before, if a corner had 150 tackles, obviously he was picked on. We don't have that. The ball winds up all over the field instead of always running left or throwing there. That has made everyone even as far as statistics go.
best doubt offense proved
I think we proved we can play with the best of them. That was the best offense in the NFL, make no doubt about it.
anyone believe difference easier feeling games job knowing people weak
I think that's what the difference is. We're going into games knowing that there's not many weak chinks in the armor. And when you believe in the other people out there on the field, it's easier for you to do your job feeling you don't have to make up for anyone else.
burn stuff
That stuff is over, but it does burn a fire,
kidding
I was (thinking), 'Wow. You've got to be kidding me,'
bigger confidence everybody looking
I think when you're 5-8, you have to have that kind of confidence because everybody you're looking at is bigger than you. I feel like . . . he's probably been like that all his life.
He's doing well in those games. He's doing well in all the games.
high school
He's Peyton Manning , for God's sake. You're not going to make him look like a high school quarterback in one game.
