We got down. They are a top team in the conference and they were up there for a reason. We helped them to get to that position. But our guys did a good job of battling back. We had some of our big hitters up there with a chance to tie the game up but we just couldn't get the big hit.

Our top four, five guys have a lot of experience in the conference already. We're looking for them to come up with big hits and pick each other up if the guy ahead of them doesn't drive in the runs, hopefully the next guy can do it.

Ryan's pitched a couple of real nice games this year. It was good to get on him early. When he gets in a groove, he's real tough to hit. Our guys got on him right away and it was important to do that.

Every team in our conference is tough. You can't look by anybody. We've been the spoilers before and we've been in the lead in the past. In both situations you can't look by people and hopefully we don't. Because any team can come get you.

We just didn't get enough offensive support. We had opportunities offensively and just couldn't get the big hit when we needed it.

We have to be better than that. There are going to be a lot of runs scored at Sunset Park. Kimberly did the runs scoring.

He was pretty sharp. He was in control the whole game. It was nice to get him some runs early.

He kept us in the game. He didn't walk anyone, he wasn't overpowering, but he kept the ball in the strike zone and did an overall good job.

His game isn't necessarily to strike guys out. It's to keep the ball down and have our defense make plays, and we made some pretty nice plays.

So far, guys have been picking each other up. If someone can't get it done, someone else gets up to the plate and takes charge.
