beginning best four future hope national pick problem teams true vote votes year
That's the problem with the voting. We vote at the beginning of the year and don't (change) votes at the end of the year. I would hope in the future we would pick the four best teams at the end of the year and play them off and have a true national champion.
bay hard looking overcome san tampa teams
I think he's overcome that. Tampa Bay is very interested, and San Diego. That's two of the teams that are really looking hard at him.
blocking blocks building opening staying teams tough
We're blocking better, staying on longer, and staying on blocks down the field. It's all about confidence. It was hard, opening up with two tough teams like that, but we've been building it back.
ball beat football good run running team teams turn
Obviously, when you turn the ball over like we did you can't beat a team like (Tech), ... We have to run the football better. We can't beat good football teams running like we did.
beating champion named national plays score team teams three
To me, a national champion is the team that plays the best. We're not beating teams by two or three points. We've pretty much named our score most of the year.
anybody couple david few future good great interest job love next staff teams visit whatever
The next few days, he'll visit a couple teams (to) see if there's any interest that he's wanted to get back into the NFL. We'd love for David to stay. He's done a great job for us, but I don't want anybody on my staff that doesn't have aspirations of a future in whatever they want to do. He did a good job for us.
area conference difference great limit special teams vital
It's very vital with the 85-scholarship limit that you do have walk-ons that participate on your special teams because they are so important. That's an area where they can come out and contribute. There's not a team in this conference that doesn't have walk-ons that participate that make a difference during the season. I think that's what's great about football.
chart depth few last marks question
There's probably more question marks on this depth chart than we've had the last few years.
great hype learning mistakes people players recruiting takes
There's so much hype in recruiting now, people think once they're recruited they're going to be great players right out of the box. That doesn't happen, especially at quarterback. It takes two-to-three years of making mistakes and learning from your mistakes.
defense kicking played worked
Our defense played hard, we just didn't do anything with our kicking game. It let us down at times, that's my fault. We must not have worked enough on it, but we will work on it.
beat shot
We had our shot at them and we didn't beat them,
accepted ben ethic handled players wonder work
Ben was a little different. Sometimes you wonder about homesickness, but he's really handled it well -- a lot better than I would have if I was his age. The players have accepted him. His work ethic is outstanding.
coming excellent good guys minus monday morning next start
As I told our team, this is over. We start back next Monday morning at 7 o'clock with all the guys coming back minus the seniors. But this will be a good team. We had a good year. We had an excellent year.
anywhere hear looking maybe month near north tv week
Down in Florida, at least we could go north and get away from it. You hear on TV where it's going to be a week or a month before maybe getting electricity. (But) you're looking at years to when this place is going to be back anywhere near what it was.
