focused front happened looking moved
For us right now, as I told our kids, we've moved on from what happened in the past. We're focused on what's in front of us. We put in the effort, and we are looking forward.
control cry fights-and-fighting happened harris help obviously team took word
We can cry about that if that's the right word to use, but nonetheless we have to keep fighting. I don't know if that's what happened with our team (when the Buckeyes took control with Harris out). But obviously it didn't help us to have him go down.
advantage air certainly happened margin missed opportunity run shot
You need things to go your way when you're down like that. You have no margin for error. And certainly a missed shot or a missed lay-up ... things like that happened for us. And every one of those opportunities that we didn't take advantage of kind of let the air out of our opportunity to make a run at the lead.
bad excuse explain game happened incredible opportunity poor sure timing turning wish
It happened (against Minnesota), and it was an incredible turning point. It was also very deflating, but it's also part of the game and was bad timing for us. ? I'm not sure you can really explain it. We just did a poor job. There's no excuse or explanation. I wish we had an opportunity to do it over again.
believe capable clicking cycle happen rhythm stay taking tough trying waiting
He's a rhythm guy, and I think he's out of rhythm. We're trying to see if we can get things back in sync, back clicking in the right cycle for him. It's been tough for him to get that back. ... It's waiting to happen for him. We're going to stay with him, we believe in him. He's our guy, he's my guy. I think he's capable of taking of taking us to a different level.
anyone concerned felt figure lead owed
We felt we owed it to them - that we were going to go as they go. They were going to lead this. And I wasn't concerned about anyone but our seniors. Everyone else had to figure it out and get on board.
break brought certainly defend defense missed ordinarily shots together tried turn
We certainly tried to turn it up. They missed some shots they would ordinarily make. I thought we brought our defense together where we'd be able to defend and not break down.
game happy walk win
We're very fortunate. We're very happy to win this game and walk out of here with a win in double-overtime.
anyone challenge conference daunting four games gone league row three win year
The way our league has been all year it would be a daunting challenge for anyone (to win four games in four days). It's a daunting challenge to win three in a row in this conference the way things have gone this season.
pleased worked
We didn't panic. I was pleased with how we methodically worked our way back.
ball critical late trying
We had some critical turnovers late in the game, and some of those were when we were trying to get the ball to Courtney.
inside tough
Boy, is he a tough player. He was relentless, he scored inside out.
basketball daniel difference efficient good kid moments nice played player players senior state
Boy, he was just an efficient basketball player as a senior. And when you think back on some of the really good senior players who have played in Madison, you think of those moments where a kid like Wilkinson is really in a nice state of mind. That's the difference in Daniel Horton.
floor game
Sometimes he doesn't get enough credit. I thought his floor game was outstanding.
