Apparently a punch was thrown. Loren is hurting. It was below the belt. You don't get any better officiating crew than we had, and they said they didn't see anything, so it was fine with me. You hate to see something like that ruin a great game.

Smith has gotten so much better at handling double teams. He's just a great player. We got a little lucky.

Give credit to Wilmington. They came out and took the fight to us. I'm proud of the way we continued to compete, but they're a tough team to chase.

Four years ago there were a lot of people who thought we were never going to get it going here again. Now the burden falls on next year's group.

I don't think it will take very much to motivate our guys and let them know that now we have to go prove to people how good we are.

I don't get caught up in that. I just know it's hard to be a good basketball team, whether it's the first or third time you play them.
