I've said all along there were six teams capable of winning the Big Ten, and that hasn't changed. Iowa has its work cut out for it, but they've helped themselves a lot this week winning at Indiana and beating Michigan State at home.

Don't read into it that I'm sitting here crying about the officiating. I didn't like the way it was called. But I'm allowed to dispute that without getting personal. It's not what totally cost us the game, but we were very much out of sync.

I was hoping to have him back Saturday, and it didn't work out. It's kind of out of my hands and kind of out of his hands, to be honest with you. That puts pressure on the doctors. For the most part, they've been consistent saying that maybe he could do something Big Ten tournament-time. We were hoping, because everything was moving along a little faster, that it would be faster than that.

We just did not check defensively. They really just went at us inside and it was almost a joke. We've never been handled like that inside.

We didn't execute as well in the last three minutes. We were shooting almost 50% against a good team, we just couldn't get it done down the stretch.

He'll be out three to six weeks. It's a big loss for us. We're not the most physical team, and he brings a little physicality. And maybe more importantly, he's a guy who can cover people on the perimeter or inside. We don't have many players who are quick enough to do that, like Alan Anderson did.

I think Al is getting better and better (in the point area). He's starting to rebound better and better at times and if he continues to do that, I think it will help us.

I've tried to just keep my mouth quiet. It is a brutal, brutal, brutal schedule. And if you go through everyone's schedule, which I've done, there's no one even close. But so be it.

It was a life-changing experience, and other than my children being born, I don't think I've had another one of those, ... It might sound hokey, but I know I'll be a better person and American for going over there.
