Coming in and getting that bomb dropped on us was heartfelt, of course. I am so grateful for Mike O'Connell to give me an opportunity to live out a childhood dream -- to come to Boston and put on the Bruins sweater. On the flip side, I feel responsible for him losing his job.

I don't think people realize what's at stake. Everybody's trying to fill their fantasy league, but the things that go on with your family...it's tough. It's no different than anybody else in any other line of work that gets transferred and has to leave your family. But this is the business we chose and we can't control it.
