country critical issue question somebody
We aren't comfortable coercing somebody to speak, ... But when you have somebody this important and when you have the issue as critical as it is for all of this country at stake, there shouldn't be any question about his willingness to come before the committees.
guess issues
We have those issues to resolve. Negotiations are under way. I think on most of them, it's anybody's guess to resolve.
accounts exclude guess health hoping include insurance issue limited medical million number pass people pill poison proposal savings thin unlimited
Why does their proposal exclude over 100 million Americans from its limited number of protections? ... They're slicing this issue as thin as they can and hoping the American people don't see through their strategy. Why do they include a poison pill -- unlimited medical savings accounts that could make health insurance unaffordable for many Americans? Well, my guess is they really don't want legislation to pass this year.
accept close fully history issue mistake president received results support tie vice votes
It was as close to a tie as history has ever seen, ... I fully support and accept the results of this election, let there be no mistake about it. But we all know that the vice president received more than 300,000 votes and the issue is: Now, where do we go from here?
accused deal family increase issues number worry

concern continue countries focus interested issues keeping pose raise region threat united
We are interested in keeping the focus on Iraq, not on other countries in the region that may also pose a threat or a concern to the United States, and I think that is one of the issues we want to raise with the administration as we continue our discussions,
congress economic growth issue reason time
There really is no more important issue Congress should be working on this year, and in this time of unprecedented economic growth there is no reason why we shouldn't be,
balanced hope issue south
This is an issue that's very important to South Dakotans, ... We hope we can find a balanced bill.
actions again apparently cases connection direct given illness impression issue mail safety
So those two actions have apparently at least given us the impression (that the mail safety issue is being addressed. Again as I say, we can't really make any direct connection between any of these actions, but no new cases of illness have been reported,
answered billion coercion congress critical explain homeland hopefully issues large measure ought questions refuses request somebody spend
I think that it's so critical when you make a request to the Congress to authorize and appropriate $38 billion for homeland security, somebody ought to come up and explain just how you're going to spend it, ... Those issues are going unanswered in large measure because Mr. Ridge refuses to testify. We just have to find a way hopefully without the use of coercion to have those questions answered for the record.
issue rather run
They would rather use this as an issue to run scurrilous ads.
bipartisan choice clear either issue partisan
The choice is very clear -- either a partisan brinksmanship or a bipartisan accomplishment, ... We can't see a partisan standoff on an issue this important.
