I always try to do as much as I can do. I'm never a person that does not enough, because I'd regret not doing enough and think I probably could have done more. I probably go too far and have to reel myself back in, which works in some things, and other things it doesn't work.

If things weren't working out for me in high school, in college, early in my pro career, my solution was always to work harder and internalize. I was so nervous to go out to practice because I was competing every day. I swear to God, I would lose sleep, ... I'd wake up and check the weather to see how windy it was going to be because I knew I was going out there and throwing. You'd learn valuable lessons about competition, and I approached every day in practice like it really was the game.
